Working on a project–especially one this big–can bring up fears, anxieties, self-doubt, and stress. This is an exercise that can help relieve some of that stress.
This video guides you through the process of erasure poetry and provides two options to help you channel stress into meaningful reflection.
Option 1: You spend 10-15 minutes writing non-stop without worrying about spelling, punctuation, editing, anything. Just write!
Option 2: You make a bulleted list of anxieties, obstacles, perceived weaknesses, concerns, etc.
Then use one or both of the techniques presented in the video to create a new text that is meaningful to you and to your work on this project.
This can be an effective strategy for you to use at this point in your project. AND it can also be an effective strategy at any time in your life.
We are excited to see what you create and read your reflections that are posted on this path.
