In any project, you will have to be a leader at some point. This lesson plan will teach you how to choose employees, volunteers, teammates, etc. so that you can do what you need to. You want people to represent your service or product the way you want.
What Do You Need?
Before you begin, you need to visualize what you want your people to be like. Make a list of important character traits that you think are important for people to have to represent your product/service.
Revisit previous paths to remind yourself of your strengths and weaknesses.
What do you rock at?
What do you want other people to help support you in?
Find Your People Practice
Read the case study: You are in charge of organizing a community health fair aimed at promoting healthy living. The fair will include various activities such as free health screenings, fitness demonstrations, healthy cooking classes, and informational booths. Your goal is to create an engaging and informative event that encourages community members to take steps towards healthier lifestyles.
List of Possible Employees
Alex Johnson: Alex is an experienced event planner with a knack for excellent communication and leadership. Known for their ability to handle large-scale events, Alex is great at coordinating teams and ensuring every detail is perfect. However, they sometimes take on too much and can be overly critical of others.
Jaime Lee: Jamie is a creative mind with skills in graphic design and social media. They thrive under pressure and bring innovative ideas to the table. Despite their creativity, Jamie lacks experience in event management and can be disorganized at times.
Taylor Smith: With a background in health and wellness, Taylor is friendly, approachable, and excels at networking. They are passionate about promoting healthy living but struggle with technology and time management.
Morgan Brown: Morgan is highly organized and detail-oriented, making them an excellent administrator. They are reliable and punctual, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. However, Morgan lacks creativity and is not very comfortable with public speaking.
Casey Green: Casey is energetic, enthusiastic, and skilled in marketing. They are great at engaging with people and bringing excitement to events. While Casey excels at making events fun, they lack experience in the health field and can sometimes prioritize entertainment over information.

Who did you pick and what will their role be?
How do they help to represent your product/service?
How did you decide which strengths were most important for each role?
How will you address weaknesses in your team selections?
