Together with the Participate community, we’ve gathered plastics for a day and shown what we found. In this video, science teacher Holly gets down to the molecular level and shows us why plastic can be useful, and why it’s so hard to get rid of! But once you’ve collected various plastic things (and posted on the Plastics For A Day Path), it’s time to do something fun with it all. Here’s the challenge: Upcycle your plastic trash into the most interesting toy you can come up with, then post a video or photo showing us below!
