Aid to Ukrainian Refugees

Team Name/Location

Chandler Stone/Kent Garfield, Utah

Join us in making a real difference in the lives of refugees fleeing the conflict in Ukraine. The situation is dire, with over 8 million people forced to flee their homes due to the ongoing conflict with Russia. Many have found temporary shelter in Poland, but they are still in dire need of basic necessities such as food, clothing, shelter, and medical supplies.

Kent and I are heading to Krakow on April 27th to join forces with Reach Humanity, To Ukraine with Love, and Andre Polonski to provide aid to refugees on the ground. These organizations have been working tirelessly for over a year to support thousands of women and children with food, clothing, shelter, medical care, and other essential supplies. For information about these organizations, see the Logs tab below.

We urgently need your help to fund this project. We have set a goal of raising $10,000 to support the most pressing needs on the ground. According to our contacts, the items listed here are their current and immediate demands in the affected areas:

— Sponsor a food line ~ buy grocery food for refugees and families. (Typically $5 per person per day)
— Provide Ukrainian restaurant vouchers for refugees, so they can enjoy a home cooked Ukrainian meal. (Typically $6 per voucher)
— Sponsor a hygiene kit for refugees (Typically $3 per kit)
— Sponsor a food truck feeding for refugees (Typically $1200 to feed 200 people)
— Paint projects for centers or schools (Typically $300 per project)
— Supplies, detergents, clothes, shoes, diapers, blankets, suitcases, medicine, etc.

We have already paid for our own flights to Krakow in personal funds, and every dollar donated to this project will go directly towards supporting refugees in need. We are partnering with The Wonderment and Kidnected World, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to ensure that all donations are tax-deductible and that every dollar goes towards making a real impact on the ground. Kidnected World has also agreed to match $0.25 for every dollar donated to this project up to $10,000.

Join us in making a difference today by donating to our project. Every dollar counts, and every contribution will be used to bless the lives of those in need. Follow our project by checking the Logs tab below, where we will be regularly updating with photos and information in real-time.

Thank you for your support, and let’s make a difference together. Click HERE to donate today.
