This was an amazing trip. Full of so many emotions...joy, gratitude, fear, dread, relief, comfort, & discomfort! You name it, we felt it during this week in Guatemala. I wouldn't change a thing! We learned; explored, laughed and shared stories, we were amazed by the people and places. The schools were pure joy to visit, the kids were happy and engaging. We met passionate people with love in their hearts for the kids they're mentoring. We were able to share a little about us, about The Wonderment, and bring needed supplies for the teachers and students. I think everyone involved came away more grateful and willing to help keep these kids and schools thriving.

It was full of emotions – I love how you highlight the emotions to show the defining moments. It makes me remember the different parts of the trip through those feelings. That intensifies the 4 days for me. (Not sure that is a word.) But the feeling of being so proud of Mileidy when she was speaking to the students, the feeling of excitement when I was talking to Ingrid, the feeling of dread of the night at the top of the mountain, the feeling of joy when playing with the kids at Paco Pina, the feeling of calm when talking to friends on the trip. Thanks for taking me back to the emotional aspect of the trip. And it was so fun to be on this trip with you! Thanks for all the great memories and time together.

Oh my God! I will agree with you on it being full of emotions. So many things happening at once, so many feelings. It took me until 2 days ago to be able to “stabilize” all of them in order to put a piece of writing together. But still not sure I am over it.
