In my experiment, I tried to find out whether boiling a liquid in the microwave or on the stove made a difference in how long it took the liquid to cool down to room temperature. I completed one trial with water and another with milk. Both times, the heated liquid took the same amount of time to cool regardless of the method of heating. I came to the conclusion that one method of heating won’t keep a liquid hot longer than another.
