Excitement and nerves

I am looking forward to our trip. We leave tonight on our adventure. I am super excited to meet new people and spend time getting to know others with different perspectives, cultures, ideas and dreams. I can’t wait to work collaboratively with others on different projects and see where that takes us and them. I am also excited to spend time with the people that I already know doing new things and exploring the world.

I am nervous about speaking Spanish but I am also excited to use my skills that are just emerging. If I don’t practice and put myself out there, I am not going to get better and this really is a great opportunity for building on what I already know.

I am also nervous about the lack of sleep. But I am going to take a nap today and try to bank some rest for the long journey that starts this evening.
