We're passing flyers around our neighborhood to invite people to chalk their walks to show love and support for their neighbors while we can't be physically together helping each other. We had a fun time coloring our driveway and out grandma’s driveway with happy messages for our neighbors. People drove by and said they saw what we drew and it made them happy. We went on a bike ride and saw other families out drawing on their walks. It made us feel good that people were showing love and being positive. Lots of kids in our neighborhood helped. We passed out over 300 flyers. Sadly it rained and snowed a lot so our drawings washed away quickly. We want to do it again when the weather is better. We had a really fun time and it helped us feel close to our friends and neighbors even though we aren’t able to get together.
