Flint’s Shark and Fish Video Game

To make my invention, first I brainstormed about what i would like to invent. I thought about maybe making a new kind of Carmel covered jelly bean for Easter or maybe a new type of musical instrument. But the idea I liked best was to make a new video game. My parents told me I might have to choose something else because I needed to make a real video game. But I asked my brother to help me and he taught me how to do it with Scratch. We sat down together and decided what we wanted in our game and he helped me learn to do it. We made a cool game with a fish that gets chased by a shark. It was so cool! I loved learning how to use Scratch! I can’t wait to try to make something else! We had a hard time figuring out how to make the game end when the fish is caught so we decided to make a rule that if you got caught 3 times your turn was over and someone else gets to play. It’s a fun game. I wish I could bring it to school to let all my friends play.
