Gratitude
Last week, I spent some time with Lily and Amila making gratitude cards.
It made me think about the reasons that I was grateful for the people that I made them for - really think about the qualities that I appreciated about them. This took a few minutes to organize in my brain and it took a bit to realize that being intentional about why you are grateful takes a bit of work. But it also creates a solid understanding of what the other person means to you and their amazing qualities. This resonated with me because it is important to be able to state those qualities out loud - so that the person on the receiving end can also get the benefit of knowing wha tthey do so well. :)
