- What struggles exist when trying to find a solution to human rights issues?
- It becoming a political discussion, no matter what you do there will always be a group of people that are unsatisfied/angry, being more lenient about certain groups can lead to their discrimination and hate crimes rising
- What roles do empathy, tolerance, and open-mindedness play in human rights?
- A large one, that's why human rights can be so difficult because not everyone has these necessary life skills
- How do you plan to approach situations where your own beliefs may differ from those of others in the community?
- Come to an agreeing point, put it to the side, have a discussion, or agree to disagree

This shows a good understanding of different sides of an issue. Your final statement on the worksheet that said that people that are experiencing a situation should have a larger voice in the decision about that situation sounds really obvious but doesn’t happen, and many times are not even asked. It is something that can definitely be advocated for in our government today. Thanks for your thoughts!
