Making a positive change

This weekend, Rochelle and Felipe held an event for the community that educated people about the mangroves, raising awareness. They also helped to plant mangrove seeds in areas where the mangroves have died. This was all done with the help of their wonderful supportive parents and an organization called Connect Ocean. As we were walking around knee deep in mangrove muck today, I felt like we were really making a difference. Rochelle and Felipe made that happen and the kids that took the opportunity to help gave something back to the world! More activities like this will create positive change!
