Personally meditation is something that is hard for me because I often find my mind wondering to other places. But I think that the length of this meditation was beneficial because it allowed me time to centre myself I think if it was any shorter I would not have really been able to connect to the meditation. The passion I connected to was my passion of dance because it has been something in my life that has constantly allowed me to express myself and fuel my creativity. I actually did this meditation before going to a dance class and it made me even more motivated and excited to go and just release my stress and tension through movement. In the end I was really able to feel the heat of the fire that was my passion which was a really nice experience. Next time I think I would actually try this meditation in the morning, because I did it in the afternoon, and see how that impacts how I go about my day. I would also like to try other types of meditation to compliment and/or contrast this one. I have heard a lot about the benefits of meditating in life and how it can improve ones self and never really found the time to put it in much practice so doing this meditation was just another reminder or implementing it into my life and practicing that little bit of self care.
