My idea for an experiment is to test how different music genres affect plant growth. Over a period of 3-4 weeks plants will get different genres of music played for them. At the end of each week the plants will be measured and the measurements will be compared.
Independent Variable: Genre of Music
Dependent Variable: Plant Growth
Controls: Where the plants are stored, how long each plant has music played for it, amount of water the plants get, when the plants get watered, etc.
