Online Learning Communities

Hello,
As I understand, you do not believe that college is necessary for everybody to which I agree. However, I am becoming a teacher and a college education is required. Do you think that online learning communities for all is a necessity for life in this era? Do you think we can learn more important and real information with real life experiences and share them with others?
