Over the next 6-12 months, we hope to expand access to veterinary care for underserved pet owners through our free urgent care program and partnerships with low-cost veterinary providers. We also want to grow our crisis sheltering capacity so that more families facing domestic violence, hospitalization, treatment, and housing instability can keep their pets safe while they work toward stability. On a broader level, we are working to strengthen collaboration between animal welfare and human services organizations throughout Utah, helping ensure that pets are recognized as an important part of housing, safety, healthcare, and recovery conversations.
