In our battle to protect Amboseli’s wildlife, we have built a barrier against poachers. A barrier not made of bricks and mortar, but of human beings. People from local communities working to protect our wildlife. Ranger by ranger, our force has grown bigger and bigger. More than 300 rangers now protect 1.6 million acres. No one knows our home, or how to protect it, better than we do. The work we rangers do is more important now than ever. We are nature’s most effective guardians.
