After doing a workout or any sort of physical activity I always feel more relaxed, more focused, and that kind of placebo where I feel like I have my life together. I was really active before Covid happened and the most in shape I had ever been because I spent the entire year doing rigorous workouts for at least 5 days of the week. This was because I was in color guard and I seemed to have a better sleep schedule, better focus, and overall more energy throughout that year. Once I had to quit because of the pandemic and I stopped exercising overall, not only my physical health was impacted, but also my mental health. Because of the significant difference between these past two years, I’ve come to the conclusion that I am overall happier and healthier the more I include physical activity in my life. Luckily I’m going to be joining color guard again starting this summer, so I’m excited to see how it positively affects my life again!
