A new Update entry has been added to the Tilapia Project Project.
"On Tuesday, the team leads of Operations and Research (Aaron and Victor) were able to meet and discuss their tilapia project with Braulio. Braulio is a 4th year agronomy student at EARTH University in Costa Rica.
Braulio started had a presentation prepared for the students based on the answers that he received about the project. He believed that the quality of the water and food is most important for the fish. He also believes that the area that the fish are kept is too cold and wonders if there is a way to move the tanks to an area that is warmer, without shade.
The boys answered questions and were receptive to adding tasks to gather more information about the tilapia in order to have a better understanding of the problem of the fish not growing as fast as they should be growing. It is something that we can discuss more tomorrow on the call. It is good to figure out how to delegate these responsibilities and keep the project moving forward - especially because there is going to be a break soon where the students are on vacation.
I am leaving the recording here for people to watch. Braulio is also available to help the students at any time and his information is on the last slide.
This is a great resource and hopefully we can keep the conversation going.
