Throughout this project I was able to understand more thoroughly the feeling of overwhelment. Even though it wasn’t the nicest feeling in the moment, it definitely taught me how to deal with it in other situations. Being a leader of a youth venter isn’t an easy task because of all the duties and requirements that have to be met within a certain amount of time and the workload that comes with it. For me specifically times when I felt the most overwhelmed we’re before the opening of the youth center since so much had to be done in a short period of time. In that time I learned how to control my stress and overwhelmed by focusing on one thing at a time. This helped me narrow down my mind to one thing resulting in a less stressful environment which allowed me to get more done than multitasking and doing a bad job. Not only did this method relax me but it also resulted in quicker results than I expected. Since then when completing tasks and duties, instead of focusing on a million things at the time, I set my priorities straight and one by one get things done.
