August 26, 2019 – Jimena CAS Summer Entry

I have emailed Ms. Geneva on how I want to participate in the Santa Cruz IUD pop-up but unfortunately, there was no more space available because it was such a small event.

Meanwhile, I’m currently working with Sibley, Alexa, and Julie on calling women with the copper IUD and asking them questions on how their lifestyles have changed since then. We will have a meeting with Ms. Geneva sometime the other week in relation to this subject.

Learning Outcomes:
Show perseverance and commitment to your project: Even though it’s summer vacation I still worry and want to know more about my project and how I can start working beforehand in order for it to be successful.

Worked collaboratively with others: I have been communicating with Julie, Geneva, Sibley and Alexa insofar as the CAS projects and how we can help as soon as possible.

IB Learner Profile:
Communicators: I established communication with my mentor so I could express my worries, my questions, and in the end get some answers and reassurance.

Inquirers: I decided to inquire more on the subject of our CAS project by doing so I talked to my mentors who gladly answered my questions clearly.
