Starting again

Today I sent an email to the amazing women who could be an integral part of this journey. It asks them to meet with me next Sunday to discuss next steps in the process. I have to say that the act of writing and sending the email was excruciating. It is hard to put yourself out there, be vulnerable and try something new. It is not comfortable and it definitely might not work, however, I am willing to try. At least that is what I told myself today. And I also had the push from one of the young ladies and Adelma, my business coach. That is probably why I sent it. It is so much better to have a community that you are accountable to in this world. And I am grateful for that. When I received my push from Mileidy, I had just finished a long day at my other job. I was tired but satisfied with the work that was done today and I forgot that I said I was going to do this today. But this community, this structure is going to be a great help in the upcoming weeks before we go to Guatemala. I also thought of an idea for what to write about here on this project. It is going to be about stories of my students that succeeded in learning so much in my classes. I am really excited about the opportunity to reconnect with them or just to remember their amazing work throughout the years. I am feeling proud of myself and still a little scared. But ready to start the week and see where it leads us.
